The jingles included here were all produced by PJ,this was not the definitive list of jingles as there were others and also other members of other nights were also producing material.
A lot of material produced in the early days of the radio was not kept by the station management and this has been lost.
Saturdays & Record Shop Promo's
The first jingles were produced in return for local our price records shop giving us records at a discounted price and also some freebies. The PJ version, used part of the original advert introduction being used on national radio at the time.
Ron Mason
I was asked to produce a jingle for the chairman who occasionally broadcast on a Thursday, so Ron's secret weapon was the result.
Saturdays
The Saturday opening would be played as a show reel to the evening and allowed the opening presenter to fill in with content before the end sequence.
The Saturday finale was the first version which would be played as the last item on a Saturday night.
