500 leaflets are printed advising how volunteers can apply for positions on the hospital radio service.
A Cajun evening arranged at South hill park provides an opportunity for the volunteers leaflets to be given out.
PPL revoke the free licence for inductive loop stations imposing a licence fee of £448 with immediate effect.
Matthew Robinson takes on the role of coordinator for the implementation of the 24 hour automated transmission system.
An order is placed for 350 mugs to giveaway. new design celebrates 265 years of Radio Heatherwood.
Former presenter Bruce Crosland sends sponsorship for five loan radio's.
Victoria hall fund, sponsor this years licence.
Twelve new loan radios are placed on the wards.
Station jingles are rationalized and cleaned up with computer program.
The web site has had 900 visitors during it's first two years.
On the 20th April trustee's from the Victoria hall fund spend a Saturday morning at the studio meeting the staff and visiting the facilities.
Alan Martin a former patient donates some cd's for the radio.
Ascot and Crowthorne rotary support the radio with cheque's totalling £425.
Trailers are put together advertising each team night.
News that the patient power contractor has been appointed for Heatherwood puts the nail in the lid of the Low power AM project.
Sunninghill Fuel Allotment Trust trustee's paid the studio a visit on the 18th May with the view to funding the 24 hour service.
Volunteers leaflets are added to the customer service desk at Sainsbury's.
Nine new loan radio's are added to the wards.
The volunteers application form is revised to include email details.
22nd June radio staff pay a visit to Bath hospital radio to see the 24 hour service in action.

On the 20th July radio staff paid a visit to Radio Redhill in Surrey to view the 24 hour service in action.
Patient power contractor HTS is awarded the contract for Heatherwood And Wexham.
On the 3rd August the radio receives confirmation from the Sunninghill fuel allotment trust to fund the 24 hours service project with the sum of £5000.
The 24 hours service gets it's operational name, “Rhapsody” is chosen.
Domain names are registered for the radio and league of friends.
The first request is received from the email form from the web site.
The station receives a cheque for £500 from the Ascot Ale festival.
Former presenter Sarah foot returns to the radio.
Trustee's from Ascot Fire Brigade trust pay the studio's a visit on the 19th October with a view to funding the balance of the 24 hour service.
In October a meeting is arranged with the hospital over the implementation of the patient power terminals.
Presenter Alan Holder qualifies for another five year long service certificate.
Ode To HeatherwoodPatient Jo Clements pens an ode to Heatherwood.
In November a letter is sent to all staff explaining the need for the 24 hour service.
19th November confirmation from the Ascot fire brigade trust to fund the balance of the project £4000.
League of friends meeting agrees to fund a fourth computer for the 24 hour service, at a cost of £1300.
At the end of November an order is placed for the atomic clock which will be used to keep perfect time for the 24 hour computer at at a cost of £307.
The software required to run the Rhapsody service is purchased.
In early December the computers are ordered for the 24 hour service and HTS start cabling for the new bedhead system.
On the 15th December a letter is addressed to the ward staff detailing the outline plan for the rhapsody service. A sponsors leaflet is included with the letter. Staff are advised that the service would hope to be up and running within 6 months.

Could we send a get well message to our uncle Alf Sturgess in Ward 4. He is 96 years old and has recently broken an arm, this after breaking an elbow a couple of years ago.
We would like to send him our love, hope he progressing well with the physiotherapy and that he will be able to go home soon.
