The station's promotion and the events it staged were being promoted through the design skills of the station engineer PJ Davidson-Smith. A small amount of work was also undertaken by Roger Hawkes.
PJ was concentrating on the grand draw, library printing, loan radio promotion, and staff newsletter.
Roger Hawkes was using his skills for the special broadcast days and the valentines dance.

Crowthorne Rotary Club held its annual president's night on Friday at the Downshire Golf Club, Nine Mile Ride.
Lee Buckland became the youngest president in the district when he took over from Martyn Hughes, who stood down after his year in charge.
A cheque for £2,000, raised at the annual Rotary Jazz evening in June, was also presented to two volunteers who help at Heatherwood Hospital in Ascot's radio service for patients.
The money will go towards special receiver units for patients in the psychiatric ward.

It always amazed us, on regular occasions the press would get the story completely wrong.
On this occasion I was promoted to Chairman.
A former mug winner Jack Harris having escaped the hospital plonks £5 on the table and says they looked after me well.
He didn’t know it was a grand draw so I suggested he take some raffle tickets, guess who had to write out 10 books.
Overheard on the day “Of course they won’t have any Daniel o’Donnell to give away, he’s too expensive”.
