Summer House - Our New Premises

The transformation of the old medical records building started in April/May 2000. The trusts works department working from drawings supplied by the station engineer transformed the building into the layout for the new studio complex.

Once this had been completed PJ commenced with the installation of the broadcast equipment and some additional work which was also required.

Additional tasks included the boxing in of all the radiator water pipes which ran round every room and were unsightly.Curtains were also installed as every room had windows which needed covering; to shield the contents, which would suffer from the sun

The work continued by the engineer until March 2001.
