The station's promotion and the events it staged were being promoted through the design skills of the station engineer PJ Davidson-Smith.
There was a much reduced output for the promotion of the radio this year, as other events and projects were being developed by the station secretary.
Listed below some of the other events etc, which had professional looking flyers.
Heatherwood Hospital League of Friends would like to know of anyone who wants to be a DJ.
Heatherwood Hospital Radio provides a friend at the
bedside of patients and plays a large part in their
well-being and recovery.
They are looking for evening volunteers from 6.30pm to
10.30pm once a week.
The first part of the evening consists of ward rounds,
visiting the patients to taking requests.
The second part involves playing the requests and other
records.
The League is looking for anyone aged 18 to 70 and full
training will be given.
All they ask is that you are committed.

Just some extra's we found:-
This year the grand draw was not able to be held at a local venue so a buffet was laid on for staff at the radio studio
The draw tickets were drawn this year by a young visitor to the studio.
This was the last grand draw and charity night.
After discussions with the league of friends it was decided that the following year a grant of £1500 would be made to the radio for it's day to day running costs.
