League of Friends Promotional Booklet
In the early days of Radio Heatherwood the station was allowing a publisher to produce our ward booklets.
After ten years of publications it was decided that the amount of copy and cost were not in our best interest so no further commissions were approved.
Station Manager Dave Smith who was responsible for a replacement booklet printed and published by ourselves was available on the ward from 1990.
At the end of 1995 the task to produce a new version of the booklet passed to the station secretary.
The new look booklet was released in March 1996 with a hard white shiny cover contained 24 pages of information on all of the services of the league of friends and some physiotherapy for the brain. The booklet was printed by M Weller printing from Ascot.
By the end of 1999 a second edition was produced, this edition built on the first and articles were updated and the edition was geared towards content reflecting the year 2000, when most would be given away.
