The station creates a facebook page which carries a number of video's taken by the station manager in the 1990's and 2000.
Radio Facebook PageThe videos contain previously unseen footage for the first time.
They chart the fundraising, room expansion and also the move from our original premises.
The facebook page is also there for people to comment on the service of the radio
In addition to the facebook page for the radio a page has been created for the league of friends our governing body.

As this year has progressed the station secretary has been busy collating the final parts to the radio history.
This month sees the final part added with new pages for 2009.
The history of the radio on the web now boasts 144 pages with 1889 pictures covering from 1976 to the present day.
Pictures and previously unseen information is published for the first time.

An important year in the history of the radio.
As the station looked at bringing low power am service to the hospital site, storm clouds were developing and by the end of the year the radio would learn it's future in it's current premises would cease by April 2000.
A bitter blow for the radio and it's staff.

In late 2009 the league of friends radio service was advised that the building which it occupied would be part of the site which was no longer required in addition as the hospital made cuts to services, the radio service decided to suspend all recruitment of volunteers until a firm decision as to what service or facilities would be available.
The league has reviewed it's position on new volunteers and cannot see any change from it's earlier decision.
Volunteer recruitment is still suspended until further notice.

Station secretary PJ Davidson-Smith has this month added 7 new pages to the radio on line scrapbook.
Now up to 1997 the history files detail how the station has developed over the years and also recognizes those un sung heroes of the past.
The radio history has over 90 pages and 900 pictures
