1993 Camera At The Ready

Radio Heatherwood Captured on Film 1993

The history of Radio Heatherwood has over the years been captured on film by many different contributors, starting with the chairman of the league Ron Mason, local papers and presenters and also the introduction of a camera to the studio.

These next picture boards show some of the pictures which were captured using the studio camera. Some lighter moments for the presenters. Some of the pictures are grainy but still deserve a view.

Skittles Night

In 1993 the station would be relying on presenters to volunteer for selling times either in the high street venues or on the hospital.

The management were trying to promote a team spirit before the grand draw fundraising would start at the end of June.

The skittles evening was a chance for all presenters to meet and also be encouraged to fill in their selling times for the forthcoming draw
